Beijing Capital International Airport is a domestic 4F-level national aviation gateway hub and an important window for international exposure. Furthermore, the airport operates at high-density, continuous operation throughout the year, which imposes extremely high requirements on the reliability, deformation resistance, and environmental adaptability of the supporting pipeline systems, and no pipeline failures are allowed to affect the normal operation of the airport.

The layout of the airport’s engineering pipelines is intricate, with aboveground, semi-exposed, and underground trenches coexisting under multiple working conditions. Pipelines are long with numerous branching points, which places special demands on the uniformity of pipe dimensions and mechanical stability under low-temperature conditions. Bolai, combining the regional climate characteristics and engineering construction challenges of large northern aviation hubs, provided a complete pipeline material solution for the project, supporting the construction of the airport's comprehensive pipeline network. During the production phase, particular attention is given to process control for the northern temperature variations, rigorously controlling the toughness of the base material and the dimensional tolerance of finished products to avoid performance degradation risks in low-temperature conditions. Leveraging the company's internal laboratory for multiple tests ensures pipe quality, fully meeting the various operational conditions of the airport, reducing the frequency of later maintenance and repairs, and ensuring stable operation of the facilities throughout the year.
